2 Days Kasigau Hike and Caves, Mines Tour & Cultural Visit Itinerary
Day 1
Experience the only mountain on the coast with a breathtaking hike to the summit, where clouds rest below your feet. The journey begins from Kasigau Camp with our expert guide, Augustine, after a scenic drive from Mackinnon Road. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours round trip. After descending, relax and enjoy a cultural dance performance at the base camp while having lunch. For those staying overnight, unwind with sundowners and a bush campfire dinner.
Day 2
After completing your hike on day one, spend the night at Kivuko Eco Camp or Kasigau Base Camp. On day two, explore the Kasigau mines in search of Tourmalines, Rubies, and Tsavorites. Later, hike up Python Rock to visit traditional sites and hear captivating folklore. Return to Mombasa by evening.
