1 Day Tsavo East Tour Itinerary 

Depart the hotel at 5:30 AM and drive along the Mombasa-Malindi Highway, watching the sunrise over a usually crimson sky. The journey to Tsavo East takes approximately 90 minutes, with a brief washroom break along the way. Enter Tsavo East, known as “The Theatre of the wild,” through Bachuma Gate and begin your game drive. Keep an eye out through the specially designed pop-up safari roof for wildlife in Africa’s true, unspoiled wilderness.

Tsavo East is vast, even larger than some countries, and home to four of the Big Five—elephants, leopards, buffalos, and lions. Enjoy a thrilling four-hour game drive before proceeding to the lodge for lunch, followed by an hour of rest. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive as you make your way toward the exit, then drive back to Mombasa or Diani. Arrive at your hotel by early evening, bringing an unforgettable safari experience to a close.
