Pilli-Pipa
Dhow (Full Day).
The "Pilli-Pipa" dhow is more correctly referred to as an Arabia Red Sea Sambuki, built of teak. The beautiful motorised dhow is well equipped, including life jackets, inboard W.C. cushioned sun-beds, snorkelling equipment: and her fully trained crew, and the marine guide ensure her passengers every comfort.
The Arab style dhow "Pilli-Pipa" departs from Shimoni jetty at 08:30 hrs onwards, and returns at approximately 16:00hrs. The full day excursion provides a fascinating guided snorkelling safari in the famous Kisite Marine National Park. The park, togather with surronding islands has an extensive reef system, and is the home of crystal waters, which ensures an exciting variety of coral life, and an abundance of vibrantly coloured tropical fish. This is followed by the exhilarating experience of a dhow under sail (weather permitting) on the way to Wasini Island, for a memorable seafood lunch. the Al-Fresco lunch is served with wine, within the grounds of a private property, on this unspoilt island.
Numbers are limited, to not only maintain the private nature of the excursion, but also to minimise the intrusion on Kisite's fragile marine environment.
