Kenya Marinas - Sundowner (Evening).
Boaring the Dhows commences at approximately 15:30 hrs at the Kenya Marineland jetty. The evening begins with a leisurely sail into the inland waterways of Mtwapa Creek on a traditional Arabian Dhow. Experience the sun setting over the African wilderness. The cooking fires of the local villages scent the air. Capture exquisite sunset views lined with giant Baobab trees. Relax to the some smoothing entertainment while taking in the breath-taking tropical scenery. As night falls, the stars begin to shine and the Dhows join togather. Torches are lit up and the best of cow hide drums set the scene for a spectecular Limbo and Acrobatic display, followed by an authentic African fashion show.
With the night set in, a host of Masai warriors bearing flaming torches, line the shores, chanting their welcome ritual for the arrival back at the Aquamarine restaurant. As guests make their way ashore, into the candle-lit, open air, palm tree terrace, it is lit up to the rich sounds of our African choir. Guests then wine and dine at their leisure.
Departure from the Kenya Marineland is approximately at 22:30 hrs.
